My very first time ordering delivery from Eggholic was a huge disappointment. The restaurant management did respond and encouraged me to give them a second chance, so I decided to try again. This time, most of the food was actually good except the Pav Bhaji — once again, the same issue as before. While my more recent visit was definitely better overall, the Pav Bhaji still remains a consistent disappointment. If they can improve that dish, the whole experience would be much more enjoyable. First experience: I decided to order from Eggholic after seeing good reviews, but I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Pav Bhaji and the Samosa Wrap. I specifically asked for extra cheese in my wrap, which I was charged for, but there was no cheese at all inside. As for the Pav Bhaji – the name itself suggests you should get pav but instead, they served it with regular white bread. The so-called "bhaji" was just an oily curry of potatoes and peas, with no onions or anything on the side. It felt like a careless, unauthentic attempt at a dish that should be much better. Overall, very disappointing — definitely not what I expected based on the reviews.
This restaurant is a nice casual spot to get food - with a variety of meat and vegetarian options. We got a veggie grilled sandwich and a chicken masala sandwich which was an interesting take on the original dish. My sandwich was salty but overall good. The Samosas were just okay.
The girl at the counter was so incredibly nice and accommodating. I went with my best friend this past weekend on our way to the airport and we didn't realize it was smaller restaurant. She made sure we could sit down, luggage and all. I ordered the mango mastani and it was SO GOOD! the paneer masala sandwich was also great! I definitely recommend this place!
